Special edition of Monteoliva oils for the Cabra September Fair

This year our cooperative has decided to bet on the promotion of one of our most deeply rooted traditions, the Fair and Festivals in honor of María Santísima de la Sierra, Patron Saint of Cabra (Córdoba). To support this festivity we have decided to make a LIMITED EDITION "September 2023 Fair".

You can now find this trilogy that we have decided to carry out this year in many of the bars and restaurants in our city. This is the list where you can find all the bars where you can taste Monteoliva oil with this special edition:

Limited Edition Description

Below we are going to make a brief description of the three limited edition bottles that we have released for this year 2023.

FLAMENCO MODEL

In the first bottle you can find a flamenco woman in a red dress, our corporate color. Another element you can find is that this gypsy is accompanied by a hat. And it is that in the sandwich of the label we see how the gypsy is singing one of the typical songs of the Cabra fair "Al pasar por la Viñuela". We have modified this song a bit and for this reason the sandwich reads "When passing through La Viñuela I took off my hat, and when passing by the cooperative I bought them oil". The scene is completed with a sky of lanterns in the colors of the Virgen de la Sierra. And in the upper margin another of our corporate elements, such as our flag.

ASUNCIÓN´S MODEL

Describing the September fair in Cabra with a single word would be practically impossible, for this reason we have chosen to create a cloud of ideas in which all the elements of these festivities are reflected, using the colors of the Cabra Flag and the Virgin of the Sierra. This cloud of ideas is framed in the silhouette of the Iglesia de la Asunción y Ángeles de Cabra, a meeting point throughout the month of September. This scenery is complemented by gold colours, which reflect the content of the bottles, the magnificent liquid gold that is produced in our cooperative thanks to the joint work of the cooperative and all the farmers.

SILHOUETTE MODEL

In this case, we find the cloud of ideas on a black background, we once again use the colors of the Cabra Flag, which is one of the most characteristic elements of the entire month of September. On this occasion we have chosen a black background to highlight the silhouettes that describe these festivities. In white we find the silhouette of the Virgen de la Sierra, the Arches of Calle Baena, a flower, a guitar, some castanets, a flamenco, a tuberose, a hat, a fan and the tower of the Assumption.

I FOOTBALL TRIANGULAR 7 MONTEOLIVA

This is not the only activity that we have organized for this fair, since we also organize the "I Triangular de fútbol 7 Monteoliva" on September 3rd. This tournament will begin at 10:00 am at the "María Dolores Jiménez Guardeño" Sports City.

When we support our local teams, we are also promoting equality (SDG 10), as sport unites people from different backgrounds and communities. Each game is an opportunity to promote quality education (SDG 4) by promoting cooperation, teamwork and discipline in our young talents.

Soccer connects us to our roots and promotes healthy communities (SDG 3). Cheering from the stands and respecting our rivals contributes to peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16). And while we enjoy the game in our local stadiums, we also remember the importance of climate action (SDG13) to maintain green spaces and face climate change.
