The extra virgin olive oil MONTEOLIVA ORO PREMIUM is a small selection of the best oil from the Cooperative, presented for competitions. It consists of a natural "coupage" mainly of the Hojiblanca variety, along with other varieties like Picudo, Pajarero, and Castacabra in a small proportion.
It is a green oil, obtained from olives before reaching full ripeness. On the nose, we can highlight a medium-high intensity of green fruitiness. Fresh aromas of green olives, olive leaves, and tomato plant can be found.
On the palate, it is a smooth oil with slight bitterness and a medium intensity of spiciness, characteristic of the Hojiblanca variety. Notes of olive leaves and alloza reappear on the palate.
It is a clean oil with a medium-high persistence. Despite being green, this EVOO is quite balanced, offering a fresh and pleasant taste.
It is recommended to enjoy it raw, as a dressing for good toasted country bread or a fresh salad. It also adds a daring touch to your favorite dishes.
This product not only meets the strict requirements of the Protected Designation of Origin BAENA but has also been tasted and evaluated by experts in various competitions.
Until now, this oil has won a Silver Medal in the "VII Concurso Ibérico de AOVE, Premios 2020 MEZQUITA," was included in the TOP100 of the world's best oils in the "TOP100 AWARDS 2020 EVOOLEUM," won the PLATINUM prize in the BGOOA 2020 competition (Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards 2020), and was awarded GOLD MEDALS in the international competitions LIOOC 2020 (London International Olive Oil Competitions 2020) and CINVE 2020.
